The Republic of Korea's K2 Black Panther main battle tank is Korea's first domestically produced tank and is intended to replace the K1, a license-built version of the M1 Abrams. The K2 is designed to integrate into Korea's three-dimensional network-centric tactical system. This doctrine emphasizes command and control over firepower and maneuver. The K2 is armed with a NATO-compatible 120mm smoothbore gun and features the latest Battlefield Management System with integrated commander's and gunner's sights and the KSTAM smart munition. This 1/35 scale model of the K2GF has over 300 parts to build a highly accurate model of the export version of this astounding vehicle as used by the Polish Land Forces.
