Flames of War: German Panzer Lehr Division (Late-War)

The Panzer Lehr Division was created in late 1943 from the armys Lehr, or demonstration, formations used to validate proposed structures and tactics. The battalions were gathered early in 1944 to begin training together. By the time it went into battle, Panzer Lehr was the best-equipped division ever fielded by the German Army.
