The term 'Technical' refers to a light improvised armed vehicle, usually a pickup truck which has been retrofitted with a machine gun, anti aircraft gun or other weapon. Being civilian vehicles, they are easy to maintain, cheap and reliable.
TheCharlie model is avery modernvehicle, which is used world wide, including by a number of armed forces. It has a large double cab, providing better transport with increased protection, while still able to carry a wide range of weaponry. The suspension is lifted and Off Road tires are fitted as standard.
