Welcome to the Dungeon is a push-your-luck dungeon game for 2-4 players. Players take turns challenging each other to enter a dungeon with reduced equipment while adding monsters to it. Win 2 rounds to win the game, or lose 2 rounds to be eliminated. Players use a 2-sided card - white for first win, red for first loss, and removal after second loss.
Each round starts with a fully equipped character. The start player can draw a monster card and either remove equipment or place it face down in the dungeon deck, or pass their turn. Once all but one player passes, that player becomes the challenger and enters the dungeon with their remaining equipment.
The challenger then reveals and fights the dungeon deck monsters. Equipment can null damage or increase HP. Surviving with at least 1 HP wins the round. After each round, cards are reshuffled and equipment reset.
The game ends when a player wins twice or is the last one remaining.
